Gestión tecnológica basada en patentes de dominio público: un proyecto de estudio desde el tratamiento de enfermedades causadas por coronavirus

Resumen


Objetivo. Se proyecta el estudio en examinar la información contenida en documentos de patente que son de dominio público, utilizando mecanismos de prospección enfocados en tecnologías disponibles para el tratamiento de enfermedades de la familia Coronavirus. Metodología y Discusión: Esta es una investigación para identificar y evaluar tecnologías desarrolladas para SARS y MERS y sus posibles contribuciones al COVID-19. Adoptó como procedimiento un estudio patentométrico realizado en la plataforma Questel Órbita para identificar patentes de dominio público relacionadas con enfermedades provocadas por el Coronavirus y el método Delphi para el análisis de tecnologías y su posible aporte al tratamiento del SARS-CoV-2. Conclusión: Se concluye que la metodología adoptada se configuró como un instrumento eficaz para los estudios de prospección tecnológica, con algunos ajustes en cuanto al uso de elementos para evaluar el nivel de madurez tecnológica. Aporte: Se espera que impacten positivamente en el tratamiento de una pandemia que reveló a todos los segmentos de la sociedad global.
